If it is Money, I would expect that he fits the bill for what Watkins said today. This is a guy who will be loyal to the club etc etc. At Walsall I believe he left after their board didn't match his ambition. Fitton's ambition is to get into the Championship which I beleive is what Money wanted to do at Walsall.
Let's hope he gets the backing of Fitton as I reckon this side is in for a massive overhaul.

He has walked out on 2 clubs in 14 months. Personally though think it will be a very good appointment.

I don't count walking out on Newcastle really. Most guys would leave a role as reserve manager if offered the chance of a first team post.

Pah! You can just as easily interpret that exactly the opposite way to the way the Adver have. They reckon Calderwood's staying put on the basis the local paper's running a story that he's been "given the green light" to start looking for Jan targets, well didn't the Adver run an almost identical story about Dave Byrne a week or so ago? So presumably if the Adver are going to be consistent in their logic, they now think Byrne's going to stay on as manager? EDIT: And they're now running a Breaking News story saying they now expect Money to get the job (again) barely a couple of hours after the 1st Breaking News story saying it was unlikely. Flapping about like a Town keeper

Where does that quote come from? It could give me a straw to clutch at in the still hoping it's somehow going to be Calderwood even though in the light of Money quitting Newcastle it obviously isn't stakes...
