I am quite liking this rumour. There are a lot of aspects to it that make it quite feasible i.e the fact that he lives locally(ish), he would appear to fit in with a lot of the comments made by Fitton and all in all I think we could do a lot worse.

I can see it coming off.

I reckon he might keep Byrne on as well.

Hasn't assisted in the Prem though - although I'm going by quotes from a local rag.

We'll see...

Not quite sure where Ling's come from, but Pearce gets a mention in there too.

I'd take almost anyone who's been mentioned so far really, the calibre of candidates is pretty impressive.

The only thing with Ling is that he got an interview last time and generally talked himself out of the job- can't imagine Fitton would go for him after that.

Agreed, with the exception of Ward.

I just want it sorted so whoever comes in can stop the slide down the table...yes I know we arent losing games but we arent winning them and thats the sign of a side that will win games with slight adjustments which can be made by a new man in charge.

Why Ling?  He's on a terrible run of form.  Apart from being an ex-player why is he even linked with us?  Pearce is really starting to get me interested, hope there's some substance to that rumour, if only to shut up a condescending Forest fan at work.
