Have you seen the little retro feature in today's Guardian...about when John Aldridge upset your lot by calling O*frod a Mickey Mouse club?

 Not wrong was he.

Joe Kinnear called Oxford fans Muppets. He wasn't wrong there in many cases too. Still, what does that make you lot? In-bred numpties I think its known as. John Aldridge never said that anyway, he was mis quoted/taken out of context. He has a huge regard for Oxford still and regards his time there as some of his best playing days.

Of course he was...in fact the article is about how 7 or 8 players were left by Maurice Evans in the player's bar, when he took the short trip back to O*frod from Loftus Road.

This is what prompted Aldo's drunken outburst....you'll always find journos in a bar ready to listen.  He was gone soon afterwards to a proper club... Liverpool.

Downhill ever since for you lot...soon to be matched by Looton.

Why's there a football thread in general discussion? You know how much that pisses me off.

Sorry chap, thought I'd post it in the 'general discussion' bit, seeing as none of you know anything about football.

But it would have been more impressive if you'd done it on a match day.
