I saw Television...warm up act for Blondie. The first 2 Zep albums were 60's....as were VU. Exile on Main Street all a long time ago now. Wallowing in the past has its moments.... I saw Tom Verlaine last year at the 100 Club in Oxford Street-he's a strange guy but riveting stuff

Must be over 30 years ago that I saw Television.....I can imagine he's a strange guy. I liked Richard Hell...solely for his band name The Voidoids.

Got a CBGB's book a couple of years back, basically a picture book - these artists are just a few of the odd individuals that emerged from that club in the late 70's.

About 6 years ago I was running ULU in london and a reformed Television came and played a gig. They still had it. Marquee moon was stunning. Verlaine was a strange guy.
