I prefer the philips type. Takes a week or two for your skin to get used to it but seems to do the trick.
Though nothing is as good as a wet shave.

TBH I've never gotten on well with electric shavers. I either just use a beard trimmer to keep a bit of stubble or wet shave.

I used a Remington rotating something or other for head maintenance when I needed to. Face has to be a wet shave though - on the face, electric is for girls (erm, obviously hairy unattractive girls)

Wet shave for me too, electric shaver make my skin go really red, horrible. Mach 3 does me, although I am tempted with the new gillette (5 blade) thingymajig.
