You should have bought a Dell!
Hindsight and all that. The Mac's still going strong after being sat in the boot of the car for 3 months!

Corrupted user profile so my password now doesn't let me in. Tried the safe mode thing, but there's no option to create a new profile with a different password and get in that way.
I love pc's and Vista.

Can you log in at all with admin or via safe mode? I think there may be a way to fix it if so.

Apparently not. Birdy's tried and one of the IT geeks at work is going to have a look at it this week. If all else fails I'll just re-format the thing and start again..

And if it's a Mac, pop in the install disc, restart it, and you can reset the password there ...

A plasma/Lcd tv. Anything less than 40" not acceptable. - depends on the size of room. Xbox 360 - meh, had one, was OK. PS3 - never tried it but the blu-ray player is much over hyped. Wii - good fun but don't own one. Sky HD - over priced by far. especially on LCDs which generallt look blurry with nay kind of movement. Home cinema at least 500w output. - A common error, often offer rubbish quality sound and people would be better off with a decent two-channel system. Pc/laptop - I'm fairly sure everyone has this now. Mini fridge - why? my normal sized fridge keeps my beer at a great temperature. Fusion razor - yawn. A leather jacket - we are no longer in the eighties. A car for winter - depends on your needs, a bike does me fine. A motorbike for summer - death wish in the hands of morons.
Over you guysto add....

I have Sky+ though. Home cinema at least 500w output. - nope Pc/laptop - check Mini fridge - my normal sized fridge does an equally good job Fusion razor - a normal razor is suffice A leather jacket - nope A car for winter - check A motorbike for summer - check (well, in bits in the shed) A guitar - accoustic and electric

Well, i own a ps3 and various computer hardware. I don't think a Fusion Razor should be on there. Do you make less 'sweeps' now you have 5 blades...
