Haven't watched anything of note lately, although I did notice that Love & Other Drugs was on C4 last night which was worth a second watch for Anne Hathaway alone.

Me and SiPie had a mandate and watched the Grand Budapest Hotel. It's wank.
One of the most boring and pretentious films I've ever sat through. I should have know it would be shit as soon as I found out Jude Law was in it.

I think that title is probably far too exiting to describe it.

Serious question. Why? One review I read said it didn't matter that it had no plot because the visuals were so good 10/10.

I liked the visuals of it, the pretty colours and what not. I thought a lot of the dialogue was quite witty and I just found the general 'quirkiness' entertaining.

Even by Wes Anderson's standards, Grand Budapest Hotel is insanely twee.

Not watched it and probably won't. The last film I watched that I thought was total pretentious bollocks was 'Being John Malkovich'. Or maybe I'm just too fucking thick to get it.

When it comes to the works of Spike Jonze and/or Charlie Kaufman, you either like them or hate them.
I'm firmly in favour.
