Putting aside the usual YT video caveat, him on one side and McGregor the other, along with a very encouraging preseason showing from Snowdon looks quite exciting.

Looking at their (shit) forum there was a lot of positivity around him, albeit a year ago when he was making his senior appearances and going to Spain.

Seems like a typical profile of many a L2 signing. Come through PL academy, loans at lower level clubs and released after a couple of years pro contract. Real Union relegated from Spanish div 3 last season.
Yeah relegated from spanish third tier hardly screams "too good"

Poor bastard, Swindon's a shithole
The culture shock from Gipuzkoa to Swindon might break the poor lad
Sorry, I've gone my whole life thinking Aston Villa was based in Birmingham. Must have been mistaken based on those comments. what nice part of the country is it?

Lots of great places in Birmingham. Alas, Aston is not one of them.

I’m sure having to dodge those piles of rotting, uncollected rubbish is a great attraction.

Usual YT highlights.
Charlie Austin's Spanish cousin scores (From 1.01).

Harborne, Edgbaston, Moseley, Sutton Coldfield, Digbeth. There are plenty.

Used to live in Brum, can't believe how much it has been cleaned up since, more miles of canals than Venice. Harborne used to be noted for the "Harborne Run" - the best pub crawl in the West Midlands.

I lived there 2005-2010. Even then I loved it, although you are right, it’s certainly cleaned up in general. Brindley Place. Lived there, and loved it.

One of my best mates lives in Solihull and assures me its one of the nicest places in and around Brum. Not sure I agree with her on that TBH. Central Brum like Brindley Place is nice if you avoid Friday and Saturday evenings.
