Zimbabwe international - surely we've not had a player from Zimbabwe before have we?

I wonder what that means for Doyle and/or Yates, if anything.

Seems a strange one, especially if Doyle and Yates are on there way back.

Not really strange. Cover for either Yates or Doyle as we know we have, at the moment, no strikers at all.
Probably means the exit for someone, though. Tonight’s Matchday squad will be interesting.

I think the Woolery rumour could have some substance after this in all honesty.

Maybe we’re having a long look with a view to signing in the summer.

Even if Doyle and Yates do sign, we would still only have one out and out striker. 2 if you count Yates. My guess is that he's more for back-up/rotation.

Not actually a rumour is there? Someone just suggested it. With it sounding like Doyle will be a perm it just feels like we are making use of our last 2 loan spots alongside Yates (assuming he comes back).

It’s very Ben Housey isn’t it? So yeah, ignore my message above. It does suggest though, that the CB and CM Wellens wants are going to be permanent if Yates is to come back.

Presume these sort of decisions aren’t made in a hurry, I’d have thought it would have been arranged before the club knew about Yates/Doyle.
