TBF it is split about 50/50 on him being liked or disliked on there, especially so in other threads about AF. I wonder is he worse than Robertson? our survey says "no". Is he worse than Lancashire? our survey says "inconclusive". At his best is he better than Lancashire? our survey says "yes". Is he experienced as PB has suggested he wants? our survey says "yes". He was captain under PB at Southend, he has nearly 400 1st teams games under his belt with well over 200 of those being in the top division. He can be commanding at CB which also fits the bill. He is only 2 years older than Greer was when he signed for us, 3 years younger than Darren Ward was when he signed for us, 5 years younger than Brian Borrows was when he signed for us too. I would welcome him, if indeed he did come. |
