Sherwood doesn't seem to have made any difference to anything whatsoever.

Not an awful transfer window, Delfouenso and Murray dead wood removed. Would have loved a Greer type. Ajoses goals may keep us up. Still not quite sure for the future, nor what Shitwood has brought.

Remember Ajose was signed outside of the window after his contract was cancelled.
That could still happen for someone else tomorrow.

Good point. Maybe if Greer or Caddis have their contracts cancelled we could land one of them. *I have no idea if we were looking to bring either of them back but either would be the experienced leader we crave and a challenge for an older player to take by the balls.

Ince and Ajose have over 300 appearances. If that isnt experience I dont know what is?
Unless it's 300 appearances per season, I'm not interested. Fucking rookies.

other than 'for the future' can anyone see the reason for signing Starkey.
I've slept on it, and I'm struggling. we have so many midfielders now, are so many of then not rated by tactics/LW?
sounds like I'm having a go at the player, I'm genuinely not - i know nothing about him. I just can't quite see the need, it's not like he's an Anthony Grant...

I can only assume there's potential there for a future sell on.

You'd surely stick him under a longer contract than 18 months? Even with a contract clause extension trigger.

I guess it could simply be a development player as you say, don't see a problem with 18 months and an option... surely that's sufficient protection if he does turn out to be a gem, not long term saddled if he's a Barker
