Morshead reckons Power tried to sign Obika last summer.
The club's recruitment policy seems to be more 'hit' than 'miss' these days, so if they think he's worth signing I will banish the memories of that loan spell from my mind.

To be fair, he's had pretty good reviews everywhere he's been...except here. I really didn't rate him at all but to be honest, we could have had Messi that year and he'd have looked shit.
Few more years to mature and he might be a much better player. We definitely need a striker either way!

Shame to see a Swindon lad leave, good we have him for the rest of the season though. Surprised of the 3 midfielders we have he is the one that has been sold. Imagine what the other 2 must be worth if that's the price for Thompson!
