Would be very happy with that, although I'd move him to right wing with Thompson behind.

I guess now the Thompson speculation will escalate. Like you say, would be great to be able to have both next season and beyond.

To be fair it's much less of a blow if Byrne does sign as his replacement.

If this board has any ambition at all and they want us to progress then they will keep hold of Foderingham, Flint, the Thompson brothers, Ferry and McCormack.

Not to bothered if Thompson goes. His positional play at times has a lot to be desired. He'll leave fir a bigger club and then 2 years down the road he'll end up signing for a league 2 side.

Although Byrne would be a useful addition to the squad, I'd rather we signed Luongo.

Thompson looks miles better than Byrne - though Byrne is improving. Hopefully its not a case of signing a replacement anyway.

It's on the cards, but other teams are interested apparently.

Would look good with Thompson at right back with Byrne doing the 'Ritchie' role.

Gut says bye-bye Nathan unfortunately

I'd prefer McEv to go. Is he out of contract this year?

I only saw Byrne against Oldham and he frightened me defensively. Has he got that much better that this is positive news?
