Can't remember the pub name either.  Landlady went to get her camera as he agreed to have pics but then got into fight and they left.  Think he was with either Terry or cole.  Cheltenham is ace for gossip!

The landlord at that pub drives Sherwood about. I think Redknapp was about that year as well.

Cannot confirm whether or not he says "literally" as much in real life as he does during punditry.

Thursday and Friday for me.

Haven't missed one since 91, and will demand to be carried there when I'm 91.

Dead or alive.

Ooh lucky you.

Ive never been,to be honest it sounds a bit of a nightmare in that its so busy there and I hate waiting for Beer

Pretty much sums it up for me. I've been 5 times (3 before the new stands) and the last two have been an endurance test. Last time was two years ago. Too crowded, too cold, got one good winner thankfully

No, but it's about £6 just for a cheeseburger!  I normally take my own sandwiches.  I might have a KFC on the way home though  Wink

I've won a day out at Cheltnumb races about 3 times now in a quiz run for Glos cricketers....not the Festival, but a meet usually late Jan or thereabouts, its always on a Saturday, which would mean missing the match, so I've always given  it away.

anyone got any early tips or inclinations this year?

the gold cup's got a bit of a belting field this year, i'll probably leave kauto and denman alone as they're just not worth it unless you're staking shit loads.

just perusing my bluesq account and exoctic dancerat 12/1, that's a very tempting price for e/w as is kicking king at 25's, hedgehuner at 100/1, i know he's faded but that's still a heck of a horse for that price
