anyone got any early tips or inclinations this year?

the gold cup's got a bit of a belting field this year, i'll probably leave kauto and denman alone as they're just not worth it unless you're staking shit loads.

just perusing my bluesq account and exoctic dancerat 12/1, that's a very tempting price for e/w as is kicking king at 25's, hedgehuner at 100/1, i know he's faded but that's still a heck of a horse for that price

Driving is a definite no no, grid locked.  The Queens hotel is ace to drink in the evening.  Irish bands and lots of booze although v smart dress only.  We got bought 6 bottles of Joseph Perrier champagne in there 2 years ago.  So generous.

Its ace mate

i missed last year but went the previous 4

Cant remember what year it was, but I did not see a single race, just stayed in the Guiness tent with the Micks

It was mental

EDIT

Oh, and then they would not let me on the train and I had to get a taxi home

Lisa was not best pleased

Jenna thought it was hilarious !

I have been told to load up on Oscar Park in the Royal & Sun Alliance Chase on day 2. Has been backed quite heavily apparently, should be about 14-1.

Good shout on the thread.

My 4th wedding anniversary is at the end of the month and I have been scratching my head over how to both celebrate it with my misses.

A day at the races could well be the answer.

Thai's LOVE gambling, and therefore my misses will love it, followed with a table at a good restaurant of course.

I should add that I don't know anything about betting, horses, or betting on horses, and all that I have said above is pretty much word-for-word from a text I got earlier.  Cool

This was in Faringdon yes?

He got loads of abuse from a West Ham fan, can't remember the pub name.

Also, Tim Sherwood is always about for the festival.
