Best thing about at the moment is Something Good by high contrast/utah saints/kate bush -

Sound quality's not too good on that but you can also hear it 1m30s into this http://www.newmixes.com/annie_mac-mash_up-sat-12-14-2007.html

I've liked the wombats for a while now, http://www.thetownend.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=15899&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=wombats&start=15, good to see them getting more attention now. Reverend and the makers are also good.

Anyone heard of The Cinematics?

I came accross them by chance the other day, it's not a new album but it's cracking stuff IMO.

Got Rumble Strips. Wasn't overly keen on Wombats on first listen, preferred Nine Black Alps to be honest.

For laid backness, get the Stars album, very listenable!

Listened to these two earlier, not so keen on MGMT but Sons & Daughters is ace.

Samdy's record of the week is The Helio Sequence - Keep Your Eyes Ahead
