My mum got me an Amazon voucher from Amazon.fr for Xmas which I have just used to purchase some random CD's picked from their reviews on Amazon. If anyone has any of these and could tell me if I have made a good/bad/indifferent choice it would be appreciated!

Haven't heard the new Nine Black Alps stuff much tbh. I think that one might be a bit hit and miss though.

Do you mean Courteneers? They were on Soccer AM this morning. Album not out until March.

i have both those band of horses albums and they are very good. quite a mellow take on rock music. "is there a ghost" and "the funeral" are both quite lovely.

i have the previous album by stars as well (the one with "ageless beauty" on) and that was good too, dont know about this one.

i think they are from brighton?

by the way, that is meant to say "band", not "bad".

i sincerely apologise if anyone has been confused by my typo.
