Modchip on the wii I think.

You'll need something to dump the image onto the HD in the case of the PS3.

Don't ask me how it all works, I gave up buying consoles a long time ago  Cheesy

A chip that modifies the computer's software so it lets you play copied cames AKA a modchip.

I haven't done it since the days of PS1 mind, so I can't shed any further light into it now.

Also for the benefits of anyone thinking of this...it's highly illegal and invalidates your warranty

Some sort of warranty invalidating moddage. Which isn't as simple as it was back in the old PSone days.

What with firmware / software OS upgrades happening if you ever want to use it on tinternet, I'd imagine the whole thing could be a bit risky. I know Microsoft will ban you from XBox live if they catch you playing dodgy copy's of stuff.

You can probably do google searches which will have better answers than me.

If that was the first link then probably. It definately won't be the case of just downloading a game and burning it to a dvd. Sorry.

It looks like a 'wiikey' is the easiest way but it still involves solder.
