So Jenna's second week back at school starts with her bringing home the curriculum that she will be working though for this years PE. Lots of good stuff in there thinks me...........until I get to the last page and a flyer drops out advertising football coaching courses at the following locations New College Ferndale School Millbrook school in Wantage All good me thinks until I start reading a little further................ Dear Parent/Guardian Glynn Evans Soccer School, in association with Reading Football Club.............. I re-read and I have not made a mistake.......Reading FC peddling their coaching schools to our schoolkids, who should be growing up to follow the Town I will write to SBC as clearly they must have given authority for the flyers to be distributed accross the town http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n70/FredElliot_2006/scan4.jpg

Makes a mockery of our own "football in the community" team of Clive and Johnno
Not the clubs wholesale fault, but a little communication between the club and SBC would not go amiss
STFC should be monopolising the town

Shrewd move by Reading methinks, they've probably done the same in places like Newbury as well.
You can't blame the council for letting it happen if the local league team can't be arsed to get involved.
This is surely down to STFC not being a community focused club.
Over to you Mr Little................

We dont know that though I have known Clive for many years and I am sure that he has endeavored to do whats right Whether the monkeys in the boardrooms of STFC and SBC care is another thing all together and it should be something that the board of the Trust should be highlighting in my opinion

When I was running a local youth FC, the scum used to recruit heavily in Swindon, they'd send out letters asking for any likely lads to be recommended etc......of course STFC never bothered.
Once I'd established the contents, any time a letter with the (very apt) moronic ox head logo on, dropped on the doormat I'd lift it at arms length with a suitable tool and deposit it in the fire or bin.
