My turn to have fun and games with my car on Monday Sad

Finally goes into Shitroen to get looked at following the flooding. Its cleaned up ok and inside and outside there's not really any sign of it being flooded now. The engine etc runs fine so thats all good.....The problems seem to be restricted to the airbag warning light being on which I guess means a sensor is fucked and the battery isn't charging so that warning light comes on before the battery eventually dies which I guess means the alternator is knackered.

Dunno how much those 2 things will cost though ??  :?

Whoa

The airbag warning light will be a wet connection still

You have two connectors, one passenger side and one drivers side.

The are both underneath the respective seats, break them apart, dry them then reconnect them and its job done

Excellent I'll try that tomorrow then cheers bud I'll let you know if that works.

That would just leave the alternator then which should only be a couple of hundred £'s..........just hope tonights rain doesn't lead to more flooding  :|

It's great!

Took a corner at normal speed earlier, well as fast as I would in the 307, and the back end jumped out. I feel like a chavvy boy racer type.

You can see from the picture the bonnet has  huge dent on the front and the back o/s tyre is a bit flat as well.

Just discovered my MOT was due on June 19th...

My car will probably fail, but i'm unsure as to what is best.

Pay for it, or pay the fine if i get caught, god knows what is cheaper or more sensible, but I don't want a to buy a new car yet as i prefer my cars to die first.

Oh well, i'm going to Deutschland on Thursday. I may just bite the bullet and leave it at a garage while i'm away and hope it doesn't cost too much on my return.  Sad

It's a fine of up to £1000 for no MOT.
