None of it's really too spicey. whatever's on as the special is normally good, unless it's lentals, they suck.
The standard stuff like the patatas (a bit spicy) and the vaireiety's of meatballs are pretty safe. The chorizo (cooked in red wine) is good aswell. Can't go wrong with a bit of tortilla.
Oh and the lemon chicken, that's sort of slightly the opposite of spicy I think. Haven't eaten any of that for ages.
I better get back to work or I'm going to get in trouble with chef. Clearing up time now, the quicker I get it done the quicker I can get to the pub. Happy days.
Mmm. drinking a nice bottle of Mahou beer. yummy.

I took Birdy there a few months ago Reg. My preferred tactic was to send a glass of champagne in to 'Ben in the kitchen' and then pick six random dishes from the menu. Only did meat type stuff though (not fish) and very nice it was too.

My experience of tapas in Spain, is that you pick from a choice of what you see in front of you....so is it similar in LG, more of a snack thing than a sit down meal. Does FB play guitar, a la Manuel at the Fawlty gourmet evening?

Never had Tapas in Spain, but there's a nice place in Brighton I go to occasionally (Casa Don Carlos). Very nice food, small, lively and a great atmosphere.

We were gonna ask for "Ben the invincible" merely as he wasn't there when we went in!

You should have come in, must have been later, don't think it got busy until 8.30ish.
I tend to hide in the kitchen.
