Bollocks. If you've got enough personality then it won't matter either way. For example, I like DV in real life, but when he's posting on here he can be a bit repetitive and boring. On the reverse, I always feel I've got something to live up to when I meet people for the first time in real life, luckily I'm charismatic and brilliant, so it never ends up a problem.

But seriously, your forum stereotype will never affect how people see you as a person. Unless you have no personality, and I know that's not true in your case.
