West Ham have been fined £5.5m after being found guilty over charges relating to the transfers of Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano. But the Hammers have avoided a points deduction which could have ended their hopes of staying in the Premeirship
Seems a bit harsh

FA must be skint again! It's the Premier League's decision. They should be thankful it is not a points deduction, but it certainly sends a message...

That is a massive fine but if they manage to stay up due to no points deduction then they will have got off quite likely in my opinion because of the gulf in cash flow between the premier league and championship

But if they were cup matches and they were knocked out of the cup - there could be a fine but no league points sanction IMHO.

Quite right too. Its about time fines actually hurt clubs in the pocket. Who the fuck cares about a £10,000 pound fine when you pay employees 40,000 a week!

5.5 million isn't harsh. They should be sent down. I'm still not over our punishment we received in 1990. They done worse.
Different rules for the rich again.

It could of been 7.5m if they pleaded not guilty. My dad heard it on Talksport. What i said earlier because Tevez played in the FA Cup the fa will get involved and it could harm them playing in next season competition.

Valid point regarding the FA Cup...because Bury were kicked out by fielding an ineligible player, so by that West Ham should have the same similar punishment.

That is correct. So he cannot play tomorrow against Wigan unless. West Ham make some phone calls to the 3rd party in England or Brazil to cancel the thrid party or they can offically loan him from Corinthinans like Liverpool done with Javier Mascherano. Complicated.
