they can stay away which many of them will. After all many of us were conned into buying season tickets under false pretences.
You watch if i am not right, why should we be shit on again, again and again. What other b usiness would treat its customers like that and expect them to keep coming back for another kick in the teeth
If mediocricy is ok for you then you deserve everything this shower of shit give you. Tell me how can their and the Newbury presence help us move forward
1) No investors out there would ever come to us with those currently running the club in charge- that is proved by the Power debacle
2) As above what decent manager will come here? Now Devlin has gone not 1 board member has any football nouse, who will want to work with those clowns
3) The people of Swindon and council blatantly dont trust this regime- so wave godbye to any redevelopment while they are here
Without these 3 in place- how are WE going to go forward. Answer me that one, o are you just happy to kep plugging along awaiting the ultimate day when we drop out of the league, which wont be too far away with these clowns in charge

We need an experienced manager. The fans wont stand for anything less OK, let me put this to you... Swindon appoint Gary Speed (for instance) as player manager (hypothetical) - no managerial experience whatsoever. Swindon appoint some faceless nobody who happens to have managed a L1 team for a couple of years offering no sign whatsoever of progression of tactical nouse. Which do you prefer?

I have low expectations at the moment yes, but I'm a realist.
I give my Saturdays up week in week out for this lot and would love to see us 30 seconds from a win at Anfield in the league again at some point.
Furthermore I believe we can achieve this, just look at teams like Burnley and Preston - Reading and Wigan - Watford and Bolton.
Teams that a few years ago looked like they'd never see progress again. a few years ago Preston were in this league and have featured in the play-offs to go up to the Prem regularly, Burnley were in our division when we won in 95/96 and were close themselves a few seasons ago to the Prem.
Yes Wigan and Reading have had money put in but Wigan were a nothing club going no-where a few years ago and they finished top half in the Prem last seaon.
Bolton are an established club now in a town no doubt finacially much poorer than Swindon, Watford - who'd have thought they'd be in the Prem this season?
OK, OK I'm not saying we're going to see ourselves emmulate these clubs anytime soon, especially with the board we have but who knows where we'll be in 10 or 15 years time.
This board will be gone soon, trust me - they've had enough and have hinted as much in many a statement. Yes they want money for the privalage of leaving us, but you'd want that too.
OK, maybe we should get in an experienced manager, but at least an internal appointment would just keep things going as they are and probably get us promotion anyway, and when it comes to it I can't see the current board being in charge next season anyway, so the cost of promotion will be incidental.
So again yes, perhaps I'm looking conservative at the moment - we have to given the people in charge - but this time next year we could be looking at promotion from L1 if we do indeed have a new board at the helm by then - who knows? I don't.
The board know they have made their position untenable now, they must do, not even they can be that oblivious. Things will get better at some point, until then I'm affraid we're just going to have to put up with it to a certain extent. No amount of bickering on here is going to change anything at the moment.

If you dont like others views then dont come on here Few points Bart: A: The majority of us who post on here (and elsewhere) put a lot of money into this club pa, whether it be via tickets/away day travel/direct debits to the trust etc... What's your point? B: You start threads asking questions/making accusations and then disappear when asked to back up your claims. C: If Bart is Spacey I'm going to stab myself for being such a spaz

C: If Bart is Spacey I'm going to stab myself for being such a spaz Why do people always think everyone is me? I'm starting to think I'm everyone on here and I've got some kind of groovy schizophrenia thing going on.

do you think anybody bothers to read more than the first couple of sentences Yes, because it's me - see: I read it all and was gripped! it was unputdownable! If you read one post this year make it that one! When it comes to stuff like this you just find yourself posting more than you intend to and it gets to a point where you might aswell carry on or just delete the lot - sometime I delete it all, sometimes I stick with it.
