just going by what it says on the statement. Apparantly 18 months he has to relax for...seems a long time. exactly. i think its more likely that he cannot work with SSW and Co as they dont see eye to eye. he doesn't have the time to be chairman so it's pointless him putting in a takeover bid |

Hmmm...
So he's pulling out of his duties as he 'is in no condition to contribute to the running of the club' because of the plane crash injuries.
Sounds reasonable to me. Nothing to do with the board forcing him out. Or have I missed something?

Not if he can't do owt for another 18 months!
If he pulls out now at least we know and can do something about it - if he'd stayed and could do nothing for the club because he'd be too busy thinking of himself (and bloody rightly so) then everyone would end up getting on his back about it all because he wouldn't be contributing.
As for his initial investmant - I think he'll allow us to hold onto it as a gesture of good will to the club.
