so thats what cassoulet is.
how depressing i must be working class, although my comprehensive was across the street from a posh school. god i aspire to be like oxford fan. Cassoulet, is also a term used in the 70's classic book " The Joy of Sex"....for the that most elusive natural smell of bird on heat...that is destroyed by too many chemical products and you can't pick up if your olefactory organ is fucked by too many fags and other malodorous cack. It is a worthy aspiration to raise one self from the confines of the lower orders.

I do feel that Paul Welleresq antipathy towards my class background that makes me feel both incredibly defensive of it and very critical of it at the same time. It's very odd. I don't like the Chavvy taste of a section of working class youth, and I don't like a lot of their attitudes, but when middle class people get all fucking arsey about them I want to brick their windows in.

Theres plenty of lower class yet nice enough people about. Its just that outside of schools you don't tend to notice them as they are the quiet ones who behave.
Not that I'm from that kind of back ground I must "admit"

Question: is the Pipers Arms a queer pub? It felt like it, Urban myth used to be that when it was the Fountain it was a gay pub...I only ever used to go in occasionally on a pub crawl or something, and ahven't been in for a few years now, so wouldn't know.

Is that the pub in Old Town, near the Arts Centre, that tried to shed its Gay bar image by changing it's name to the Hobgoblin, which ended up being referred to as the Goblin, which kinda just brought the whole gay thing back into peoples minds.
