Every vote counts in a referendum....Burslem's 24,000 will have counted as much as Swindon's 210,000.  Probably won't make much difference when we go there on a cold February night for a re-arranged fixture mind.

Bradley Barry is a bit of a gloveman, and Super Jon struggles with exposed pinkies, but he'll be sold anyway. Vigs is allowed.

Meh, I've made fun of glovers myself (not the Yeovil kind) but most of it boils down to emasculation or some "in my day" shit. I put on gloves when my hands get cold, even out for a run. I don't see why footballers should be any different.

I'm sure I can think of something.

You prick.

Nope. That one's been done before.

I agree. I despair when pundits on the radio criticise players for wearing gloves, yet not one of them ever seems to think of asking why they might do it (beyond just keeping their hands warm).

I challenge anyone to argue about why players shouldn't wear gloves without saying "man's game", "girly" or "in my/[insert player's] day"

Girly?  From what (admittedly little) I've seen, women footballers wear gloves less than their earring wearing, coloured boot wearing, hair-banded male counterparts

Well it's nearly over. Lets be honest, apart from some great fans(Iceland the irish etc) and the odd player shining(Ramsey, payet) it's been a shit tournament of poor quality football. Our lot played like utter wankers and our fans were idiots as is the norm.

I hate it when commentators have their "matey" little private jokes.

Boring game so far, feel for Ronaldo. As much as he is a twat he's a quality player.

Portugal have actually been better with him off in this game.
