They said on the footie show Hendon had been fired after the game Saturday, couldn't see anything until this morning. They must have had more than us in the last year now?

We're approaching three years since PDC left.

That's it, nothing else to add.

PDC is probably nearer the type, as you'd have to be fucking mental to want to manage them at the moment.

Kevin Nolan appointed player manager at Leyton Orient. Was inevitable considering he has been training with them for months.

Good appointment.

Kevin Nolan could have had another year or two winding down in the Prem/Champ. Fair play to him for giving L2 management a go.

No fan appreciates a good player/manager appointment quite like a Swindon Town fan does 😎

Mark Cooper talking up his Scunthorpe job chances and revealing he turned down the Wednesday job in the summer. Maybe for everyone it would've been better if he had taken it.

So he says....

He says it's because he wanted to stay loyal to Swindon. Local press say it's because he was faffed about on terms and conditions. Local press seem to be taking it as a 'triumph' over Power as Power accused the press of making up stories, even though Cooper's version contradicts the press's version.

 Hmmm

Cooper must be confident of getting the job if he's talking about the Wednesday job and turning it down. Power would be within his rights to stop any settlement of his Swindon contract.

Just all looks a bit messy. If Cooper had gone in the summer we could have taken our time to choose a replacement. Sounds like Wednesday just pulled the plug and went with the Portuguese guy on his own.
