I think the original point was, it would have been less heart breaking for us to have just lost 4-0 than to have pulled it back to 4-4 with 3 seconds left to go....

Just got home, really fucking angry.
Not one of Morrisons better days to be fair, and last goal was his fault but the whole defense were pretty poor. Did piss me off that after fucking up & giving away the fifth goal he didn't bother coming over to the fans and instead headed down the tunnel as soon as he could.
To fight back from 3-0 & not get anything from the game is just so annoying and avoidable.

Glad that he didn't make any excuses and said the defence was poor, but he as manager is the one who fundamently needs to sort this out and quickly.
3 defeats in the last 4 games with 11 goals conceded is clearly a massive issue.
He's known we needed a centre back since July. It's what will cost us at the end of the season. Shipping 5 just isn't good enough. At least we scored four, a front three of Ball-Austin-Ritchie will cause teams alot of trouble but thats no good if we keep shipping goals at the back. |

That was exactly the point I was trying to make Dave. Everyone would have been completely pissed off, but the circumstances as they were have left the majority of us feeling genuinely distraught. |

I do think Pboro away is a bit of a one off this season....had we gone there sneaked a 1-0, or even a 0-0 I'd quite expect us to finish there or thereabouts.
There are a number of positives to take from this game.....

I would take 400k for Morrison right now if someone offered it. He's either fantastic or terrible, no in between. We need some consistency in defence and I don't think he provides that. How did Cuthbert get on today?
Maybe it's time for LJF to come into the side?
