When Wilson first came to the club, he was lauded as the Messiah (remember boxing day at Orient?) The season he got us to the playoffs he was admired and respected. The following season he was labelled a clueless, inept manager and a bottler. That's football management. I've got good and bad memories of his tenure, but ultimately he was found wanting (whatever the reason) and was given the elbow. It's only natural for someone who's been sacked to come up with excuses. I bet we'd hear the same shite if PdC was ever given the boot.

http://image.guardian.co.uk/sys-images/Film/Pix/gallery/2006/11/03/blofeld1.jpg I think it's about time we had a retrospective on Danny Wilson...it's still a mystery to me how, it went so wrong. He obviously signed some confidentiality clause when getting his pay off...so we're free to speculate

I once ran over a dog. It was actually dead already. I could see it ahead of me in the road but didn't have enough time to avoid it so I had no choice but to drive right over it. The fact it was already dead didn't make the sound of it hitting the bottom of my car any less gruesome. I had a full car and we all shuddered. Just a cheerful thought for you all.

My wife hit a magpie once, the feathered thing was so interested in badger guts it didn't notice our car hurtling towards it on the Salisbury to Weymouth road. It gave her no comfort when I informed her that her actions will have saved some innocent chicks in their nest somewhere. Every time we go past the spot I remind her of her murderous actions. Certainly not as horrific as a dog though

I hit a fox that ran over 3 lanes of that bypass down at Asda to get in front of my car. Fucking thing cracked my bumper.
