He couldn't come to Cheltenham he said he said
Could not afford to come along he said he said
But we took Gary on the train
Back to Cheltenham again
Gary Stanley is a blow up doll

That alone is why the Torres song should never be sung in Swindon, in any form  Embarrassed

I like this one because it's not used by Liverpool (at least I don't think it is).

Then you have my permission to use it... as if you needed it anyway but use it as you will.

Just seen it on ssn - bad mistake by brez but it never went over the line, good recovery by the big man.

Good night. First half was a bit meh, both sides failing to impress.

2nd half it was all us, we played some nice football, kept the ball well and looked quite solid.

Peacock has completely won me over, I used to think he was a headless chicken, but after seeing our performances without him, compared to when he's in the side, I've come to the conclusion that the bloke's immense, he never stops running, tackling, breaking up play and his goal was well deserved. He is definitely best at midfield though.

There'll be those who belittle this result, either because it's the JPT, or because it was against Hereford, but I really think we could've turned a corner last night. There seemed to be more team spirit and determination than of recent games and a win can only inspire confidence.

Just hope the crowd on Saturday give them a chance.

A win is a win and let's hoep that this could be a turning point in the season, unfortunetly I'm not so sure, Saturday is really crucial now, we must get a win no if's no but's.

Listening to MM interview he was blaming the press for putting out negative messages and telling them ti was down to them to put out some positive messages to the fan's - errr sorry but if you are not winning or you concede 3 from being 3 up then what positives can be taken - win a few games and get some consistency in the team and all the negativity will dissapear with everyone backing a winning team and a manager that has proved he can turn it around.

It was a good result last night, I think someone mentioned it already in this thread, but isnt our away record pretty good this year? Only lost away at Cheltenham?

Perhaps it's because the Hartlepool game felt like a defeat....

Just need to get our home form together, perhaps we better start cheering for the away team and make it feel like an away game for our players... Cheesy

So Smith gets the vote of confidence and dropped all in one day. Impressive.
Hmm, that was my thought when I spotted the keeper looking distinctly Brez-shaped but as rbe pointed out, actually it may have been a clever bit of pre-game gamesmanship by MM. Leak to the Adver (and JPC) and other well-known sources that you're sticking with Smith, Turner tells his team "Right lads, they've got a keeper low on confidence so just pepper him with balls, force the error" then out they go and it's "Ooh, hang on who's this bloke?". All of a sudden it's Hereford who are feeling ill-prepared and on the back foot. Erm, it was a lot more convincing when rbe explained it to me last night. And tbh, difficult to find any other reason for the Phil Smith Hokey Cokey.

Oh, and Sam, I was in the ground for kick-off, thank you very much. O ye of little faith.
