Definitely bigger: Leeds, Sheffield Weds, Sheffield Utd
Possibly bigger: Barnsley, Hull, Bradford (at a stretch)

That was my reasoning.  West Yorkshire's 3rd biggest also sounds a bit ropey if you want to phrase it that way too.

I was assuming Doncaster was bigger given they are in the CCC. 8th biggest club then!

Is Hull technically in Yorkshire?

Yes - it's in East Yorkshire.  (Humberside is now defunct.  The East Riding lives again.)
