Yep, just back. We looked pretty good for most of the game. Back four and Lucas solid as a rock, Ferry and Douglas ran the midfield. I dont think Kavanagh had a touch til around 70 minute mark. No one played badly, and we made Carlisle look poor. Macca was dangerous, as was JPM on the right. In fact several Carlisle fans after said our right hand side were awesome. Between us we said Ferry or Manky were MOM. Felt sorry for Revell, he was clean through 2nd half and wellied it miles over, i swear i saw it land near Manchester this afternoon. Pitch was superb, they did a great job getting it fit, bet they wish they hadn't bothered. Charlie didn't do too much bar the goal, but it pretty much killed their support, and we never looked in danger of concedeing, was even confident last 5 mins we wouldn't concede. Slightly concerned Donkey hasn't been on, he may not have survived the 4 hour drinkathon back last night after our rather liquid afternoon!

Stayed over, with a mate who lives up that way. First time i've been there, and can recommend it as a night out.

Got back fine. Sang Swindon songs with Villa and Burnley fans on the way back. The four hour drinkathon was highly enjoyable! Lots of water and headache pills before I went to bed, meant I was fine this morining (well, early afternoon).

Charlie didn't do too much bar the goal
If he can score a goal every other game, I'd be happy for him to stand there scratching his arse and picking his nose for the other 89 minutes.

Sorry was a bit tired, that should have said, he didn't really get another chance, but ran around a lot, held up the ball and linked well, certainly never looked as though he was non league a few weeks back.

Awake enough and had a bit of time to do a bit of a run down from Saturday.
Lucas 8- Solid and commanding never looked like conceding, only had one real save of note. As the defence was unpeneratable. They are really starting to look a solid unit. Felt a bit sorry for Smith being dropped, but everytime i see Lucas he looks quality.
Amankwaah 8. As Lucas, never gave Robson a sniff.
Lescinel 7. Kept Anyinsah quiet for the most part, got beat once early on, but then kept him further up the pitch out of harms way.
Greer 7. Usual solid self, won everything in the air.
Cuthbert 7. As GG, was a threat from set plays up front.
Douglas 7. The ringmaster.
Ferry 8. Played deeper than normal, but very calm, and brought the ball out well.
JPM 7. Solid performance, and linked well with Manky, had the right side tied up.
Macca.7. Had the beating of Harte every time, put some good crosses in.
Austin 7. Well taken goal, solid effort all round.
Paynter 6. Only had one real chance that the goalie saved well, worked hard.
For Carlisle Anyinsah looked useful but lechsinel as said kept him up the pitch where he couldn’t do any damage. Harte was good going forward, not so good at the back. Overall they were, lets say “off their game” and I’d rate them 4/10, with a solid 7/10 for us

Fuck me, just watched those highlights. How useless is that Alec Revell, that attempt was pathetic!
