This was my understanding of it, probably sign for someone like Preston or Fleetwood
Yeah, this is what I heard, but I was waiting for someone else to say it first.

It's the lack of goals what worries me about next season. Not one proven goalscorer on the books. Looking at that list, we have Michael Smith, Andy Williams, Connor Waldon and Miles Storey if he's still contracted ??
Here we go. It's May, Ralphy. It's May.

Belford is deffo not the finished article but then neither was Wes when he first pitched up here. I like Wes and yes he does deserve to play at a higher level, tis a pity we havent offered him that yet. Hopefully he stays but can see him going ( pretty sure thought that last summer ) Belford will make a decent fist of it in goal as cant see us going out to get another established number 1

Interest in Wes is not usually all that great with just one or two bids that are not exactly mind blowing. Supposedly some prospective customers are reluctant because he is quite short for a goalie.

The other thing is a lot of clubs already have a decent keeper and are reluctant to spend big money on a new one.
Unless a club has real dodge pot between the sticks they see money better spent on an outfield player.
Hopefully!

Ha ha what a brilliant turn of phrase. I'm going to nick this. Next time you hear someone at a game shouting "X you dodge pot", that'll be me

He is still young and I reckon interested clubs will wait until his contract expires and get him for free.

Wes was pretty damn awesome when he came in. Mind you that may be perception because Phil Smith and David Lucas had spent some time trying to out dodge pot each other.

Smith got 18 goals this season and is still raw. I would put good money on him getting at least 20 next season.

I'm maybe the only one, but I'm looking forward in Andy Williams returning next season. Does give us something different attacking.

The first time I saw him play, albeit on TV, I was very excited by him. Hopefully he'll regain his form.

Williams is big confidence player. Di Canio destroyed that in him.

Actually, I think it was Yeovil's keeper (the one that injured him). He was never the same after that

Yep, he bottled everything and lost a bit of pace after that. Shame as he looked the best of our forwards up until that.

A non scoring forward, just what we need. His performance at Brentford in the play offs was one of the worst I've ever seen in a Town shirt.
