At the time for 600k I was expecting a Roberto Carlos type, he wasn't anything like that for sure. Not the best or the worst we've had, but I'm not sure he fits my description of a hall of famer. Hall of steadiness maybe. that's how I'd sum him up, was expecting a lot more given the fee. definitely nowhere near our group of worst player ever, and did make a fair few appearances. guess it depends what you consider a hall of fame to be... had no idea he was a season ticket holder

He had a bad injury before he came to us, I think a broken leg. I seem to remember him saying he hit Wanker John because he fouled him in the same way as when he broke his leg.

Yep, I remember him saying that as well, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_Robinson_(footballer,_born_1968) McGinley was a shit and it was sad seeing Davies trying to do the same to Thompson a couple of seasons back as well, must be what Bolton does to players!

If Charlie Austin isn't in the next England squad football really is broken.

He was on the cusp of it when at qpr then decided to stick with them when they got relegated. As long as he stays fit he's in with a good shout.

He was in a squad once, it's got to be time to get a goal scorer on the pitch, he'd have got at least one against Malta.

Yep got called up alongside Jamie Vardy, Vardy got the nod to make his debut while Austin sat on the bench
