I just cant get worked up about this, sorry. People were kicking off about it at Fulham aswell, but the sky didnt fall in, the team played well and 6,000 odd Town fans had a great day out in London. Whats the big deal?
Tradition and identity. It was wrong for Fulham and even more wrong for this game. It doesn't make a whit of difference to the result, but it is part of our identity, part of what is Swindon Town. I assume you'd be quite happy for us to play in yellow at home and black and white stripes away next season? Because if it doesn't matter for this game, our biggest in 16 years, then it just doesn't matter at all.

I'm pretty gutted about it, but it's not going to alter how we get behind the lads come Saturday.

The board have done wonders for this club but they have really dropped a bollock on this one.

Well, of course not. I'd kind of take that as re(a)d

It's a massive, showpiece game and everyone watching is going to go 'why the fuck are they wearing white?!'. I really cannot get my head around it and the reasons coming out of the club just dont stack up. What if we were playing Huddersfield? We wouldn't be able to wear white then.

The club probably wont reverse their decision, but they certainly need to know from the fans what a massive mistake they have made.

No matter how many people email Nick Watkins i think the decision will stand.

It wouldn't even be so bad if the white kit had red trim. But it has blue trim, so doesn't it actually clash with Millwall's kit to a degree?

Oh well, i'm sure the club will have to respond on this in some fashion, it will at least be interesting to hear what they have to say.

I wouldn't say it clashes, but it will bear a very strong resemblance to their colour of their end of the ground, and very little to ours
