Remember games v Southport from the 60's, Eric Redrobe and Terry Harkin....but never went to Haig Street
It's Haig Ave but I wouldn't worry too much about going there - Southport currently struggling to stay up. They're kind of like a West Brom of the Conference/Conference North

Ah, that'll be why Paul D had to move away then.

I know that name, he played in the NASL in the 70's.

We lost 2-1 didn't we? Ended the 6 game winning streak.

I'm thinking of 95/96 promotion winning season. Corker of a game but on the losing side:

30 SEP  Wrexham (Away) 3 - 4 Allison 2, Thorne      Att. 4,296

Went to both those Wrexham games because I was living in Shrewsbury and I agree, they weren't very welcoming.

I was at that game, recall we lost 4-3 after being 3-1 up  Eek We had a good following that day.

Classic game. I wasnt there. But I remmember watching the goals on Central Goals Special and thinking what a brilliant away following. I think there was only 1 goal at the away end.

Ive only seen us win once at Wrecsam, and that was last season. Been up there about 4 times.

I remmember one game it was so dead outside the game before kick off about 2002 that I keyed STFC in the paint of the home exit gates before kick off. No one noticed even though it took me ages and was massive.
