Yeah thats basically what BBC weather said earlier, the worst weather coming in very late on Saturday until Monday.
BBC suggesting 50 odd MPH winds in Carlisle at 3pm tomorrow. I cannot wait!

Tongue in cheek, I am sure he didn't attend Morecambe away the other season? Could do with with Flash's arse up there to counteract the storm

Are you attending a game? Yep, so we are undoubtedly gonna lose! May actually be sitting on my tod as whilst going with FiL his Carlisle supporting mate is also coming with us so he will have to decide which end he wants to sit in, and I imagine the view will be much better for the home fans rather than hanging off the end oif the pitch with the away lot! Its Horlocks local game only about 40 to 50 miles up the road isnt it?
Bout 60 miles up the road, although it will be the train taking the strain tomorrow. Morecambe is closer and if we stay in this godforsaken league next season Barrow would be even better! Tongue in cheek, I am sure he didn't attend Morecambe away the other season? Could do with with Flash's arse up there to counteract the storm Went to Morecambe in the PdC season when we won (may even be the last time I have seen us win!), not made Morecambe for the last couple of years as its always fallen on dates when we are away, hopefully make it this year albeit its a twat on public transport!

As already said by many, it's clearly not a must-win game but Carlisle are precisely the type of opponent we did well against in 2019 and need to resume beating away in order to maintain the gap to 4th place.
Wind and pitch may fuck us but I'm still confident.
1-2 Yates & Doughty.

Many saying something doesn't make it so, any more than saying we did well v Carlisle in 2019 does when we lost 2-1 at Brunton. In my book losing 2-1 means we didn't do well.

I think the 2019 reference was limited to this season and how we've been pretty good against teams in the lower half of the table.

I see... confusing, nevertheless correct in identifying the need to win, in terms of maintaining a healthy position.

No idea... given good circumstances we should win, but the weather is a wild card, so who knows.

We seem to play quite well in inclement conditions (Crawley away, Crewe and Exeter at home), so the wind shouldn't be a factor. What we can't cope with is ploughed field pitches and set pieces against teams of giants.

I'm going tomorrow, looking forward to it.
406 sold in advance which isn't too bad at all.
