All the players and Di Canio came over at the end. DC was pointing at all the away fans mouthing "Thank you". Kissing all the players on the head too.

He was sadly unanimated when we scored though. Bad times.

Just seen the goal on SSN, great header from Da Vita -from quite a distance as well. Top strike!

Decent ball from Gabilondo too!

Loved Di Canio's reaction at the end though.  What a Hero!

From OTIB

Quote
Swindon weren't great but we made them look it. Their keeper had one save to make from what I remember? Our shaky defence allowed Swindon to put dangerous crosses into the box on numerous occasions, but apparently thats too much for our 'championship' team to manage.

Also bugs the hell out of me when Swindon are 1-0 up, Di Canio is all over the place screaming at his players and Keef stands there like a lost little boy with his arms folded

I wonder what Points West will be saying about us then? City just had an 'off' day they'll probably say..

Yeah, he picked him out a treat, Da Vita didn't have to move much - which allowed him a few precious seconds to set himself and pick his spot.

Any neutral would say we were very good tonight. It wasn't that they let us, we made them look poor.

Oh, and Di Canio was shouting and waving his arms around for the entire game, not just when we were a goal up. He must be knackered!

This is a good one from OTIB...

The players just didn't seem interested. They repeatedly did exactly what they did against Pompey and wellied in crosses which were easily dealt with by the two Swindon centre halves both about 7ft tall. It didn't seem to occur to anyone that it was a wasted tactic.

Millen brought on Albert second half and he livened City up briefly but lacked support. No shots on goal with Pitman having the same problem as Maynard did and got no service. Once Swindon scored every City fan knew it was all over.

Taylor looked like a lower league player, all he did was try to flick on high balls.

City lose to a lower league team and join a long list of both PL and Championship clubs who have done the same.

That all said credit to Swindon who didn't look like a basement outfit and if they play like tonight every week then they'll be certs for automatic.

That was fucking quality. We battered them for 90 minutes.

Big Czech guy looked very good, no one had a bad game. We had fantastic support tonight aswell, loved PDC's reaction at the end!
