For everyone thinking about topping themselves because we don't have a reserve team anymore (maybe a slight exaggeration) the OS says we have one today against Portsmouth, good oppourtunity for players like Atiku to get a run out and hopefully some youngsters!

On the same subject do anyone know if we still have reserve games at the CG ? and is there any kind of fixture list. I cant quite remember if we pulled out of the reserve combination league, It's been a good while since i was able to go to a reserve game.

Lost 4-0.

Benjani scored a hat trick. A youthful reserve side will always struggle against class players like him.

Not bothered about the result - just glad a few fringe players got a game under their belts really!

Two schools of thought mate

I stand firmly in the camp that thinks that this was purely done to get some of our fringe players out the door

Can't believe Manks isn't even considered good enough to play for the reserves?

Given he gets injured all the time recently probably dont want to risk it if he is off soon
