Technically the match has been forfited and England have won the series
3-0 because pakistan did not come out to the field of play after tea. Then the umpires removed the bails. Never liked Daryll Hair as a umpire. I have now have respect for the Pakistan cricket team. Fair play to them. Sad day for cricket. If there is play tomorrow that it is a farce in it's own way.

:? Surely they should have won the match first and then kicked off?

Just announced on BBC News that game has been forfeited and England win.

Sad way to end the series.

That's not why the game has been stopped though is it?

Yes, the Pakistan team werent happy that Darrell Hair had accused them of ball tampering.

Yes, so instead of protesting properly they decided to stay in the Pavilion. That's what cost them the game.

You didn't see England all stay of the field of play in protest of Rooney's dismissal in the football WC, regardless of how right or wrong the decision was.

Watched the highlights on 5ive earlier and Sir Geoff mentioned problems between Pakistan and Darrell Hair in the past. Anybody know what happened there?

And when they came back out the Umpires decided not to bother!.

Surely the Umpires re-entering the field of play and adding on the lost time on the 5th day would have been the better option?.
