Happy for Smithy. 38?Huh? Top reporting!

Very pleased for him, didn't know he had been there since December to be honest.

Oh and I forgot he came to us from Crawley, feel I should hate him now.

It was in the days when Crawley weren't too big for there boots and pre fat boy. It's still ok to like him. :-)

Neil Lennon on Charlie Austin in today's Scotland on Sunday.

"We were tipped off about Rodriguez at Burnley who hadn't played in the Premier League and he ended up going to Southampton for £7m. Celtic have never spent more than £3m on a player in six years. I don't know what Charlie's valuation is. He is a player that we like but whether we can afford him or not is a different matter."

'Former Barnsley, Shrewsbury, Swansea, Plymouth and Yeovil striker Fallon'

They mean Swindon rather than Shrewsbury surely?

Pretty sure I just saw George Wood our old GK coach on the palace bench. Done well for himself if that was him.

He must have followed Holloway down to Palace as he was at Blackpool.

Good move for him, no doubt he could have got a run of the mill League 1 club but Portsmouth are a big club and if they do well next season then he will be playing in front of 5-figure crowds every other week.

Hope he does well, a shite right back but his spell in the centre with Darren Ward around December-January was the best our defence looked at this level for a long time.

Only 'one or two' League 1 clubs.

Not a surprise really as he has done well at that level in the last couple of seasons and been one of the stand out performers in a top 7 side.
