Also don't know why Wilson puts Macklin on as a striker because he's plays right-mid!!!

Because he's well capable of playing in a stand in strikers role and has the pace to worry defender's,It could't have been easy for him coming into a game like that and the problem was he was trying a bit to hard to impress the management, and by doing so his first touch was not very good. The lad just needs time he'll be fine in time im sure.

Just watched the highlights. The move when Paynter blocked Ferry's shot was ace and the goal was a very well worked set piece.

I'm going to try to get to more games before the end of the season, the bbc make us look immense.

No they don't. Missed out loads of fantastic play in the first half. There was a 5 one touch pass move including a through ball back heel pass from JPM into the path of Manky.

Fucking class.

Their goal was a catalogue of errors.

Ward was a few yards away from the player that scored when the ball broke, yet he appears to just stand on the half way line scratching his arse rather than get back and cover - he was nowhere to be seen when the ball went in. As soon as the ball was played forward Ward should have been running hell for leather to cover.

JFL's position when they broke was fine and he got back in time, but he never looked around and so totally missed the player that scored coming in behind him. Amankwaah saw him and should have either shouted at JFL to cover him or got over quicker himself.

But then it was a bit of bad luck that the ball somehow got past JFL, Amankwaah and Lucas (who maybe should have done better).

You are being very hard on Lucas, no keeper in the world would have saved that, he drilled it very hard and low.

Why do so many people have to get on LJF's case all the time? He had another excellent game today, put in plenty of good challenges, played plenty of great balls yet he one mistake and everyone is all over him.

Ward made plenty of mistakes today and was pretty anonymous for the entire game, yet receives no criticism.

And how about the twat (which may have been Ward) who had an open goal from six yards and managed to hit a Swindon player instead of the net? Its mistakes like that which cost us points, not a mistake that results in a corner that is cleared.

Whilst I agree Lescinels performances in the past 3 games have improved significantly he is still very much the weak link.  Watch the goal back on the TV and he completely switches off for Charltons goal leaving the man completely free with all the time in the world to pick his spot.  It was the same at Orient last week for 75 mins he kept there winger under wraps and then last 15 he switched off and got torn apart allowing the winger to get cross after cross into the box as Orient chased the equaliser.  Lescinel is adequate cover nothing more nothing less, the sooner Sheehan comes back the stronger we will look.

I keep banging on but you defend from the front.

The highlights of the second goal show the black Charlton defender winning a free header...that is shocking in my book.

Highlights do not show the defender running 20 yards to win it!!!

You can't blame everything on JFL. For the Charlton goal Ward was equally at fault, why didn't he get back?

It wasn't JFL that gave the ball away either, pretty much everyone was losing the ball towards the end.

To single out JFL is just ignoring the failings of the other players and is pointless.

Why would Ward be marking there winger/striker? last time I checked thats the left back's job, if he had stayed switched on and marked his man tightly we would of seen the result out.

Bailey is a midfielder and he broke down the centre of the pitch. If anything it was Greer's man, but he had to move over to cover Cuthbert who had to move over to cover Amankwaah who was out of position. None of which excuses Ward for standing on the half way line and not bothering to cover, if he had there is a very good chance he'd have been in the right place to block the ball played to Bailey.

Whether it's deserved or not - No Swindon Town squad is complete without a scapegoat.
