A little harsh but he wasn't very good certainly for a whole game, he had decent 30 min spells in games.
I hear his head wasn't fully in the game and struggled with being a bit part player, he was lightweight which in L2 is harder to overcome unless you are very good like Reed.
He will improve for sure but not sure he will play at a much higher level than L1 but have been wrong before. I would have been happy if he stayed another season to see if he could build on it but he never seemed to settle with us.
JML though, fast but techinally terrible player. He has the touch of a early Huawei mobile phone screen.
Yeah I don’t think East was as bad as some would suggest. JML was very frustrating as he seemed to dribble quite well at times but final ball and shooting was shocking.

I didn't think East was useless for us at all.
JML on the other hand... Have we still got him?
East was an upgrade on Anton Rogers. JML was poor. Both not good enough if we are serious about getting out of this god awful shite league. The thought of doing these grounds all over again fills me with dread, however a few weeks time reckon I will be about ready. Looking at a few trains tomorrow.

Time for an update... although there are still a lot of unknowns here.
THE CURRENT SQUAD
OUT OF CONTRACT New contract decisions pending
2. Akin Odimayo (DRC) 10. Jack Payne (AMRLC) 24. Rob Hunt (D/WBRL) 29. Harry Parsons (ST)
8. Jordan Lyden (MC) - no contract offer but training with the club to regain fitness
UNDER CONTRACT Contract lengths mostly not announced, but expect 2023 unless stated
3. Ellis Iandolo (DL/MC) 6. Mathieu Baudry (DC) - 2023 confirmed 7. Ben Gladwin (MC) 11. Harry McKirdy (AM/ST) 12. Lewis Ward (GK) 20. Jonny Williams (AMLC) 25. Louis Reed (MC) 28. Ricky Aguiar (MC) 30. Mo Dabre (MF) 32. George Cowmeadow (AML/ST) 34. Harrison Minturn (DC) TBC. Tyrese Shade (D/MR) -2024 TBC. Sol Brynn (GK) - Season long loan TBC. Oscar Massey (ST) TBC. Reece Devine (DL) - 2024
YOUTH PLAYERS Some may have been released/offered pro terms, the club has not yet announced - does anyone ITK have any idea on these? Presumably there's a new intake too. It seems like they don't even have a squad section on the website anymore.
31. Donny Gordon 33. Levi Francis 35. Callum Winchcombe 36. Anton Dworzak 37. Harvey Fox 38. Tom Wynn-Davis 39. Jed Afenyo 40. Jacob Bunch

Thanks Nemo
So 15, 16 if Parson's stays as I expect. And Massey, Minturn, Cowmeadow and Dabre I'd say are currently squad players with an eye to the future.
Still got a bit of recruitment to do then!

There are four loan spots to fill, honestly I think I wouldn't expect more than a couple more permanent signings. Main gap is forwards and centre backs, we're pretty well sorted down the sides.

We can have up to 6 long term loans but only any 5 of those can be in the matchday squad for each game.

If we are genuinely viewing massey, Minturn, Cowmeadow and Dabre as first team we will have a pretty weak squad. Again. Doesn't really fit into the 40% uplift in budget, or at least how I envisaged it. I don't mean that as a beat up on those players. Could be the next Scott Twine. But Scott Twine wasn't the next Scott Twine after a year of not playing much.
