Nah, they are just trying to pay off the stadium costs rather than get a return. But as a fan I'd definitely not understand that, given the season tickets are the most expensive in the league.

I guess Arsenal will reap the rewards once the Emirates is paid for.

I do wonder though if eventually the fan base will get bored of surviving in the premier league, claim Pullis has taken them as far as he can, then appoint some manager that plays 'dynamic' football and end up sinking to league 1. Charltonitis. We'll see.

I only went on to see if I could see a Swindon thread!

Smiley

Oh yeah, they started one early

"Done it for scfcbuxton" is clearly no SSWS

New accounts disabled so I can't let them know that they are going no further in the League Cup

Coming back with no injuries is the biggest issue here. Think we'll lose it narrowly

Stoke City doing their best to help prove that Premier League football fans know nothing about football.

It would be nice if we could get even more media interest and make a few quid by turning over Stoke - but I can't see it happening.

As a big boxing/MMA fan, I know that styles can make fights and can have a big say in the outcome even if theres a big gulf in class. Stylistically, Stoke is horrible for Swindon which makes me think we won't get anything from the game. I'd rather play a team that would challenge us to actually playing football than kicking seven bells of shit out of us.

Though to be fair to Stoke fans the Avatar of said muppet who wrote it is SCFC Buxton Embarrassed Embarrassed

What would he know Hmmm

The fact that they only have two stands open to home fans may help us,maybe our smallish band will be heard more Cheesy
