Are you confusing him with Paul? Edit - Ah I see - I never knew he was chief scout here! https://www.theargus.co.uk/sport/23128728.brighton-interim-recruitment-boss-sam-jewell/

This is a very tenuous one, but Nick Pope, now missing the League Cup Final hence my discovering this, is shacked up with Kevin Horlock's daughter.
He also went to school with those girls murdered in Soham years back.

Albeit playing in the 9th tier, below the levels we loan our scholars out to! Sounds like he's having a lovely old time.

It's often quite telling that most pro's retire at the top - which is what we'd all try and do career wise in a real job! I admire those that just want to keep on playing until their body won't take it.

Weird. Thought he'd be more than good enough for a struggling League Two side. Could probably do with signing him, but unfortunately we can't.

Struggling.... Basra have as many points as we have! Don't think he has been getting a game but odd for him to agree a mutual at this stage when he can't sign anywhere else, as he had a contract till the end of the season, which I assume Barrow must have paid up pretty much in full for him to agree to go. I must confess I had completely forgotten his time here, but on looking Wiki suggests he had a gambling ban while he was at Leeds, so hope something like that hasn't happened again.
