I'm sure we had someone like Nikki Hammond come on as a CF in something like an LDV trophy game once?

Edit: perhaps Mildy?

Could be Mildy, he started his career as a centre forward before moving to keeper IIRC.

It was Mildy against Tranmere I think, he ran around for 10 minutes and didn't touch the ball

I don’t think Mildy ever was a striker but that’s where he made his debut.

When I say started I dont mean professionally IIRC it was U16 level I think, I spoke to him about it when he was at the club many years ago.

I think the real challenge would be to play two in one game without it being due to a sub.

Or use all our subs on keepers and use 6 in one game...

Mildy played in the same team as my son in the youth leagues.  He tried to be a forward but was bloody hopeless, gangley and no cohesion.  One week we were short of a keeper and he volunteered to giv it a go.  Rest is history!!  That was with Pinehurst YC

I would be happy with Camp and Wollacott staying (signing) with us next season as 1st and 2nd choice whichever league we end up in.

As I was reading through, these were my exact words. Camp and Wollacott would be that similar mix of youth and experience (for a keeper). A bit like having LMc and Benda. Would give Woollacott  a chance to develop and the experience of Camp would be invaluable.

The fact we won't be is not entirely unrelated to the fact we haven't got one.  Hmmm
