Roman Darcy scores for the creepies, cancelled out by Dion Conroy’s own goal

Thought the same.
Also felt he’d flourish under a competent manager - I’m not for one second suggesting he’s Dan Kemp quality but would be a decent enough replacement in that role when Kemp goes in January.
Not saying we should resign him but if he was still here he’d be the direct replacement.

The only thing similar between Darcy and Kemp is their stature. Kemp has a turn of pace and bit of quality every now and then. Darcy for me is 'workmanlike' but knocked off the ball too easily.

Another player hobbled by the PE teacher’s preseason. He was pathetically weak last season. He looks physically in far better shape this season. He wanted to play for us and I liked him but he was so lightweight.

Nah not having any of that. He had enough minutes to show us that he was any better than a bloke that runs around and it happened in just one game. Fans love a trier and I understand that

Darcy could shoot. There ended his skillset. Off the ball in particular he was absolutely dreadful.

…not if he was already here - it wouldn’t be a transfer.
We’ll see who we replace him with Saturday

Who played for Hanwell Town at Supermarine today and still hasn't found his level.
On a different subject, Brann looks decent.

People can laugh all they like. He's now a regular and playing well. Which proves to me he had the potential to do the same here this season. Not as if he's dropped down a level

Darcy wasn't dog shit, but he's miles off where we should be looking. Kemp is leagues above and you'd hope if we lose Kemp we could still replace him with better than Darcy.
