Apparently in a two year deal with the town's biggest employer, Bootham Crescent will, for the next two seasons, be known as Kit Kat Crescent.

I kid you not, it was just on Sky Sports News.

The world has gone mad.  It is now official.

I hate it when that happens.

I've not looked at this site much this week and when I do I just look at the most recent posts at the top of the page so I didn't see that.

Any way, what a rubbish name.

Bill Hicks had the right idea when it comes to advertising and marketing people.

I hate it too, Arsenal's has got to be the worst "The Emirates Stadium" even though they sponsore Chelsea at the minute.  Sell outs.

That's why Barcelona are the greatest, turn down shirt sponsors year after year, would never contemplate changing The Nou Camp's name and run by the people for the people - legendary.

I'm afraid they've also signed a shirt sponsorship deal for next season as well. Oops

Well that's a fair point if ever I saw one.

The thing is with the Catalans they're probably more xenophobic than racist. Xenophobic against Spain.

Yeah they're more anti-Spaniard than the Scots are anti-English.  And that's saying something.

Do the Spaniards care as little about Catalans as we do about the Scots?

Ha ha, very good point Boeta.  Sad    I'm not sure about that!!

The Barca shirt sponsorship deal with Apple Mac was found to be a hoax, and they recently turned down a sponsorship deal with an Austrian internet betting firm betandwin.com.  So the shirt's safe, for now.

I agree especially as Nestle make Yorkie Bars, but it's not for girls so the York equivalent of STFCBird wouldn't be able to go to watch her team.

Apparentely the Kit Kat brand matches the York City one, red and white clours etc.  The woman on Sky got quite into it.

Dunno but they're laying on buses from York City Centre to the ground, Double deckers by all accounts.
