Going to the Hearts v Aberdeen game on saturday Corporate, should be costing £135 but we managed to get it for £94. For that you get a champagne reception with Hearts 'legends', 3 course meal with bottle of wine, match programme, half time soup and pie, Ladbrokes folk to take your bets at the table, Rudi Skacel of the match presentation and best of all a complimentary bar from 12.30 until 6!
Last season we did this against Caley Thistle and the game was utter Oxford United (Caley won 2-0). We went to the pub after the game and apparently I was so mullered that I couldn't speak!! I have no memory of getting home and I have recently seen pictures of me asleep in the boozer!
Anyone else done any Corporate stuff? What is Swindon's one like?

I did the Swindon one once back in 92 against Barnsley when Nicky Hammond had one of his few good days.
Enjoyed it all, met Paul Bodin and Ross McClaren as they were injured and not playing so came in to chat. I was sat on the same table as Rikki Hunt!
It was all to do with newspapers etc, the club were giving out free tickets to all the local papers/mags etc, the magazine my Dad worked for in Bristol at the time got offered 2 and my Dad took them as nobody else wanted them.

I had it when we played Man U at Old Trafford in the league cup, year after we won the 2nd...
Was quality - reception as above and top meal, free abr at half time and more food, free bar after and the man of the match etc came in.
I had to sit with Manure Fans though, suited up! Was up on my fucking seat when thorne scored though, we were all over them for 20 mins in the 2nd half and I was wishing I was behind that goal with the other town fans!

Went twice last year, Southampton pre-season and Franchise.
Reason was, we paid for Southampton as a pre-season treat (bless) and the food and service were soooooooooooooooo shit, we complained and got offered a free for a game of our choice.
No free bar, Carling from Cans, Willie Carsons son looking like Little Lord Fauntelroy.
Usual refinements :-))( though. glass of bubbles on arrival, programme, half time tea and bics, three courses, bookies at your table.
that was the best bit of the whole day as we did a 1/2 time-full time, got it spot on at 25-1. We each put a ten spot on and staggered out at 7.45 pissed with 250 in our pockets.

I love the effort our guys put in. OK so it's not super-swanky Man United, free bars and double, double choc chip waffles with syrup every five minutes but the corporate experience is great. The players are always willing to have a natter - as are the likes of Mark Devlin and co which in itself is refreshing - a few old legends thrown into the mix too. Always makes a nice treat once in a while.
Best one I attended was a couple of seasons back. Spent the majority of the build-up to the match sat talking goalkeeping with Fraser Digby (LEGEND OF THE HIGHEST ORDER!!) and reminiscing about the good times under Lou, Ossie and Hoddle. Bloody marvellous!

Nope! That is scumbag Andi. We were singing football songs in the boozer after the game and we were singing 'Home when the wife says, he's going home when the wife say's..............' It was funny at the time, especially when she phoned him to see when he was coming home!!
